I really didn’t ever think…

… but it’s clear that you no longer fully exist if you don’t have some kind of dynamic web presence.

After three years in a cubicle — only one of which was really too many — I have gloriously resigned, and 6/30 is my last day at this too-large, too-small, too-conservative corporation.

So, suddenly I want to start working on the more promising of my old projects again. Suddenly I want to start new ones. Most of all, I want to recreate a presence in the world of ideas. Over time it has become apparent to me how formative were my Bay Area years, from 1998 to 2002, and while I left partly to escape the endless buzzing of biz, I now want to reconnect to it, if perhaps on somewhat different terms.

And thus this site, a nexus for my projects… and a blog. We’ll see how that goes.

In the next few weeks I have to figure out what the hell it is I’m going to be doing to pay the bills, come August 1st. It better be a telecommute, I know that for sure.
